 Ricardo
Saikali has been actively involved in
Public Speaking, Training and Training
the Trainer since 1985. He has been
practicing as a Registered Massage Therapist
since 1998. His experience includes
working in multidisciplinary rehabilitation
settings, along side Chiropractors,
Physiotherapists and Acupuncturists
as well as in relaxation/spa settings.
His active involvement in the Massage
Therapy profession has included being
a clinician, facilitator and educator
at the Ontario Massage Therapy Conferences
and other Massage Therapy Expos. As
well, he is the founder/ originator
of TheraStone™ Massage technique
as part of the Continuing Education
program for other Registered Massage
Therapists under the College of Massage
Therapists in Canada. Continuing education
courses in anatomy dissection, cranial-sacral,
strain counter-strain, positional release
and other fascial-based courses have
had a great influence in originating
the TheraStone™ approach to Stone
Massage Therapy.

Ricardo
has been actively promoting and instructing
therapy in Stone Massage since 1999 in Canada,
as part of the continuing education program.
He is particularly interested in how massage
therapy can aid with chronic pain issues,
especially when it involves myofascial issues.
As well, he is furthering his study and development
of the use of Stone Massage (hot and cold)
so that it can be integrated in carrying out
a greater and more specific role in myofascial
treatments, whether on its own or as an adjunct
to other modalities.
